Etalon Filter
Optical filters are wavelength lockers with extremely high wavelength stability, mainly used in wavelength tunable laser modules for optical communications.
FEATURE
This fiber pigtail etalon module operates at the 1.5-μm wavelength band.
The fiber output of the laser source is simply connected to the SC connector to obtain a transmitted etalon signal without the need for optical axis adjustment. The etalon is designed by our unique PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) and can obtain spectra with FSR=4.5GHz and FWHM=100 to 300MHz. This module has four built-in etalon circuits, which can operate separately at the same time. Since a PLC substrate with excellent thermal conductivity is used, thermal response is fast, and a temperature controller to be provided by the customer enables highly stable wavelength-locked operation in a short period of time.
